Julian was invited to give a presentation on the use of codeing practises in contemporary art installations.
Gravity was projected on the wall of the Conservatorium as part of the grand opening of the event.
Processing Workshop
Inaugurated for the launch of Siana Brazil, the cultural center of Oi Futuro in Belo Horizonte hosted the first conference of the event.
Split in two parts, the morning was dedicated to the presentation of the history of the demoscene through the show of several classic productions (1)(2). Eventually a discussion followed on the use of computers and code in the use in contemporary art.
The afternoon was devoted to the learning and practising of Processing tool, through the creation of animated graphic sketches.
Gravity
The interactive installation Gravity was set up and projected on the main wall of the Conservatory of Belo Horizonte. It was warmly welcomed by the city inhabitants who immediately caught the idea and sent hundreds of messages every day.
