Aquatypes - European Heritage Days in Bordeaux
Throughout the evening, the old church of St. Simeon was adorned with an interactive aquarium fed by public impressions.
Messages projected on the wall were transformed into marine species that began to move in a behaviour of their own. Participants' statements created this giant, living fresco that was both a space for individual expression and a poetic spectacle offering an unusual view on this ancient architecture.
This building which kept its orginal interior decoration is the host of an independant movie theater well known by the inhabitants of Bordeaux.
Marine movements are punctuated by a specific sound environment, created by Splank Studio.
